More specifically, NSC is focused on: Workplace Safety Roadway Security Impairment Every one of our employees is committed to helping people live their fullest lives, and right now we’re seeking someone to fill the role of Part-Time Instructor – First Aid Courses.
Position Highlights: Our part-time instructors support our mission by teaching first-aid classroom courses.
Classes are typically conducted Monday – Friday, during regular business hours.
In some instances, customers may require 2nd or 3rd shift or weekend classes.
Depending on the curriculum being taught, classes can range from two and a half hours to eight hours of instruction time.
Part-time instructors are able to choose their own schedule and teach as much or as little as they want.
Classes included: First-Aid, CPR, AED, and Bloodborn & Airborn Pathogens.
As a First Aid Part-Time Instructor, you'll teach a life-saving First Aid Course curriculum to employees, of varying occupations, on how to respond correctly when a medical emergency occurs in the workplace.
Already an Instructor? If you are already a First Aid Instructor, NSC offers those already credentialed in First Aid Instruction a simple, crossover process that allows you to crossover and teach for NSC.
New to Instructing? If you’re new and want to become a First Aid Instructor with NSC, we can help you find a class that fits your needs.
The courses developed by the National Safety Council meet the latest guidelines for First Aid, CPR, and AED and OSHA requirements.
We’re looking for someone with: Experience in public speaking with the ability to lead effective classroom discussions, and to be able to handle a diverse group of students and environments.
For those wishing to crossover to NSC, current certification as a First-Aid instructor from a nationally recognized First-Aid provider such as the American Red Cross, American Heart Association or Health & Safety Institute (HSI), or others.
The pay rate starts at $30/hr Live in the state of Montana Additional experience is a PLUS, but not required 1+years' experience as a First-Aid instructor Health Care Provider credentials Bilingual in Spanish or a secondary language We believe that you can’t be safe if you don’t feel safe.
