As a High School Principal, you will be a leader in the development and improvement of instruction.
Some of what you will do:
Develop and administer a comprehensive improvement plan that guides all instructional programs and activities in the school geared toward the success of students.
Develop the master schedule including the development of class schedules and assignment of students.
Establish clear lines of communication regarding school goals, accomplishments, practices, and policies with parents and teachers.
Management and supervision of all building personnel.
Provide support to teachers and staff and resolve issues through the use of conflict resolution.
Supervise and evaluate instruction in a classroom setting with an eye to learning styles.
Evaluate performance of teachers, programs and staff; plan and facilitate professional development for faculty as needed.
Prepare and manage the school budget.
Who we are looking for:

Qualifications include:
At least five years of successful teaching experience.
Three years administrative experience is preferred, ideally in a high school setting.
A master's or advanced degree from an accredited college or university.
A Master’s degree in Education is preferred.
Valid teaching certificate with appropriate administrative endorsement and special course work related to School Administration.
Educational leadership experience (i.
e.
, hiring, mentoring, directing work, employee relations, application of employment law and collective bargaining agreements) is strongly desired.

Initiative and adaptability to independently prioritize action to best address the needs of the district with professionalism and mindfulness.
Communication and integrity to work effectively under pressure with diverse audiences, promoting consensus, while being respectful of other’s interests and district’s interests.
Influence and personal effectiveness to instill trust and demonstrate integrity through daily interactions and act responsibly in difficult situations.
Service and organizational commitment to provide prompt, efficient service that meets expectation of the clients and holds to the highest value the district’s approach and service.
Mathematical skills and reasoning ability to calculate figures, analyze data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Work effectively with computer and software programs to perform the duties of the position; learn and utilize District applications.
Successful candidates enjoy being mobile throughout the day to regularly interact with diverse groups and are able to balance multiple demands at the same time.
