We are currently seeking caring professionals for the 23-24 School Year for all grade levels.
Short and Long Term Assignments Available
At Helena Public Schools, our vision is to foster dynamic educational experiences that prepare all students for life.
As a Substitute Teacher, you contribute to this mission by providing instruction and in the classroom while a teacher is absent.
You will work as part of a team that serves 8,000 students at 18 campuses across Helena.
Some of what you will do:
Promote a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth in the teacher’s absence
Provide assistance for individual students and/or small groups based on lesson plans
Maintain appropriate student records
Who we are looking for:
At least one year of college education.
A bachelor’s degree and prior experience working with children is preferred.
Montana Teacher License is ideal candidate.
Substitute teachers enjoy a flexible schedule and preference of location and assignment.
Opportunities for short and long term coverage!
Earn $130 - $140 per day depending on certification.
Long Term assignments may be put under teacher contract with the appropriate credentials.
