Under general supervision of the Motor Vehicle Supervisor, this position processes documents and data related to motor vehicle titling and registration.
*Requirements*
The above knowledge, skills, and abilities are typically acquired through a combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and one (1) year experience in customer service.
Cash handling or financial record keeping experience preferred.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Background checks will include a fingerprint based, multi-state criminal background check, and a National Sexual Offender Registry Check.

*Duties and Responsibilities*
* Processes documents and data related to motor vehicle registration, licensing, and titling;
* Collects fees and handles cash, check and credit card transactions according to prescribed standards;
* Assists customers in person, on the phone, and through electronic means;
* Prepares receipts for tax payments received;
* Responds to inquiries and requests for information;
* Prepares correspondence pertaining to vehicle registration and vehicle titles;
* Performs filling duties and data entry;
* Maintains records;
* Creates and completes mailing lists and group mailings related to motor vehicle;
* Performs other duties as assigned.
