Description: Carroll College is seeking a self-motivated individual to fill the position of Senior Business Operations Specialist for the Finance & Administration Department.
This position will perform senior executive level administrative support to the Vice President of Finance, Administration and Facilities Management.
This person will serve as the first point of contact and oversees administrative operations.
They will need to perform complex scheduling and calendaring, develop and post agendas and minutes, regularly interact with the President, Vice Presidents, Board of Trustees and employees.
The Senior Business Operations Specialist will also perform contract management duties by assisting in the initiation, creation, editing, reviewing, negotiation and recording of all business contracts on behalf of the College.
Responsible for assisting in managing and administering the College’s property, liability and other insurance programs in conjunction with the Vice President of Finance, Administration & Facilities Management and will assist in the development and growth of college-wide policies and procedures, as well as the College’s Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery planning.
This position will be instrumental in developing, testing and delivering a culture of risk awareness, prevention, mitigation, and continuity of operations through planning, education and training.
Supports and performs a wide-variety of administrative and accounting services and other functions within Finance, Administration & Facilities Management to include; corporate credit card administration, managing the College’s fleet vehicles, monitoring food service commissions and other general accounting and administrative services.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or other related fields.
Administrative experience or experience working as a Paralegal is desirable.
A combination of education and experience may be considered.
