Description: Carroll College invites applications for a 1-year visiting professor position in the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences to begin in August 2024.
We seek a broadly trained biologist with a strong commitment to teaching at a predominantly undergraduate institution.
The primary teaching responsibilities for this position are Intro to Human Anatomy and Physiology 1 & 2 (BI 201 and 202).
Other teaching responsibilities may also include courses in the introductory sequence, upper division courses in area of specialty, or writing-intensive research courses in area of specialty.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have earned a Ph.
D.
in Biology or a related field, will have a demonstrated ability to teach A&P, will be open to using a variety of high impact teaching practices and will be committed to fostering an educational environment committed to equity and inclusion.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
